Callum Foundation Eligibility Requirements

Donations from the Callum Foundation will NOT accept funding requests for the following:

  • Organizations, projects and/or programs outside the United States
  • Donations to individuals, for any purpose
  • Political parties, projects, candidates, campaigns or partisan organizations
  • Organizations that practice discrimination by race, color, creed, sex, age, religion or national origin
  • Religious or sectarian organizations for religious purposes
  •  Purposes that do not meet the Mission or Vision of The Foundation
  • Organizational indirect costs
  • Capital campaigns
  • Deficit reduction, retirement of debt or repayment of loans
  • General endowments
  • Real estate or land acquisitions
  • Vehicles
  • Athletic teams or events
  • Fundraising events or sponsorships
  • Organizations and/or projects where the sole purpose is redistributing the awarded funds to other groups
  • Conference, seminar, or convention attendance or expenses for employees, volunteers, board members, or anyone related to your organization
  • Expenses related to fundraising/campaign consultants or contracted services
  • Expenses related to grant writers or grant application preparers
  • Expenses related to the development of feasibility studies, operating, or strategic plans
  • Fellowships
  • General, ongoing operational expenses, including rent, mortgage payments, utilities, monthly fees, or phone and internet usage fees
  • Items or services purchased before April 15, 2019
  • Memorials for an individual
  • Personnel expenses including salaries, bonuses, and/or employee benefits (funding for contract workers/artists/performers is permitted)
  • Promotional pieces not related to the project
  • School parties at any grade level, including, but not limited to, graduation ceremonies and post-prom parties
